The National Monuments Service's description

Towards the top of Slievecarran in a natural long hollow orientated N-S and within a field system (CL006-042001-) extending all over the plateau. A semicircular enclosure (c. 25m N-S; c. 10m E-W) defined by grassed-over stone foundations abutting a rock-face at W. Noted on OSi Aerial Premium (2012-2018) by Ros Ó Maoldúin. Two enclosures (CL006-243---- and CL006-244----) lie just 15m SW on the plateau above the hollow. A hut site (CL006-190----) is c. 70m to the NNE in another hollow.
