The National Monuments Service's description
On a S-facing slope, overlooking the karst landscape of the Burren NE-W and overlooked by higher ground W-NE. It is a well-preserved, oblong cairn (7m ESE-WNW; 4.5m NNE-SSW) which is low in profile (min. H 0.35m; max. H 0.6m). It is constructed using small to medium, angular flags and some small scree which appears to have broken off from the larger stones over time. The edges of the cairn are the best preserved (Wth 1.3m; H 0.6m) at ESE. The top of the cairn has two slight depressions at the ENE and WSW ends with a small area of rocks dividing the two. An animal shelter/corral is located c. 18m to SW and a cairn (CL006-152----) is located c. 92m to ENE. This may be one of the three 'mounds' listed in the RMP (1996) under the number CL006-085----.
