The National Monuments Service's description
In rough elevated pasture with clear views in all directions and within an extensive field system (CL005-160001-). An oval enclosure (c. 140m N-S; c. 180m E-W) defined by a bank from S to W and elsewhere by a stone wall that skirts along a rough limestone shelf at N. Visible on OSi orthophotograph MapGenie 2013-2018 and noted by Eve Campbell. A cashel (CL005-160002-) with an internal house (CL005-160040-) lies E of centre within the enclosure and another house site (CL005-307----) lies c. 10m S of the cashel. A number of later walls divide the space between the cashel and the oval enclosure.
