The National Monuments Service's description

In rough elevated pasture and abutting the SE corner of a rectangular cashel (CL005-160003-). An oval enclosure (c. 26m N-S; c. 17m E-W) defined from N to SE by a double-faced stone wall (Wth 1.5m; H 1-1.5m). The W side of the enclosure is formed by a quarry face (H c. 2m) which is probably the source for the cashel material. A roofless, rectangular, modern drystone built structure lies in the interior.
