The National Monuments Service's description

In a grassy area in an otherwise hazel-covered valley. Noted by Tom Coffey c. 1994 and marked by hand on a 6-inch map (SMR file). On inspection in 1998 a small grass-covered mound (4.2m N-S; 5.3m E-W; H 0.3-0.8m) possibly representing a fulacht fia was found at that location.
