The National Monuments Service's description

On a high (between 600’ and 700’ contours), level terrace on the NW slopes of Knockaunsmountain (OD 983’). The interior contains a possible booley hut (CL004-027010-) in the NE sector, and a second possible booley hut (CL004-027006-) stands c. 12m to SW.
A sub-circular area (int. diams. 19m E-W; 17m N-S) is defined by a drystone wall.
