The National Monuments Service's description

On a high (between 600’ and 700’ contours), level terrace on the NW slopes of Knockaunsmountain (OD 983’). A second possible booley hut (CL004-027010-) stands within an enclosure (CL004-027009-) located c. 12m to NE.
A circular, drystone structure (int. diams. 1.55m N-S; 1.5m E-W) with roughly corbelled walling (T 0.5-0.7m; int. H c. 1.1m; ext. H 1.4m) supporting a flat slab which forms the roof. A low (H 1m) outwardly splaying doorway opens to the NNE (int. Wth 0.44m; ext. Wth 0.7m).
