The National Monuments Service's description
On a moderately steep W-facing slope surrounded by rough outcropping rock and rough grazing and situated within the field system (CL002-033001-) on the E side of the valley between Gleninagh ‘Mountain’ and Cappanawalla Hill. Visible on Ordnance Survey orthophoto (1995) and on a Cambridge aerial photograph taken in 1970 (CUCAP BDM053). A small circular enclosure (int. diam. 8.6m) defined by thin flags set on edge. Possibly used as an animal pen. A cashel (CL002-033003-) lay 20m to the S and another cashel (CL002-03302-) lies c. 100m NW.
