Le marché-bazar se tenait, au début du 19e siècle, sur l'actuelle place du Général de Gaulle. En 1847, le nouveau marché comprenait, dans une enceinte close par des murets surmontés de grilles en fer, deux halles en maçonnerie et un bâtiment long divisé en loges (actuelle longère). Vers 1935, une des deux halles a disparu et le terrain a été divisé, celle du fond, vide en 1935, apparaissant construite en 1950. En 1976, de gros travaux sont entrepris et la totalité des cours sont couvertes d'une structure en coque de béton armé.

History
The market-bazaar was held, at the beginning of the 19th century, on the current Place du Général de Gaulle. In 1847, the new market comprised, within an enclosure closed by low walls topped with iron grilles, two masonry halls and a long building divided into lodges (current long-house). Around 1935, one of the two halls disappeared and the land was divided, the one at the back, empty in 1935, appearing to be constructed in 1950. In 1976, major works were undertaken and all the yards were covered with a reinforced concrete shell structure.
