L'édifice remonte à la fin du 16ème siècle et fut profondément transformé après 1723 avec notamment des percements en travées de baies et une galerie extérieure en bois en direction du tertre du château. Il s'agit d'un édifice de plan carré avec tour d'escalier en vis circulaire. Il se compose d'un rez-de-chaussée ainsi que deux étages et d'un comble. L'intérieur renferme de nombreux éléments de décor, lambris, menuiserie et cheminées datant de la première moitié du 18ème siècle. L'ensemble a été racheté par la ville en 1993 afin d'abriter l'Hôtel de Ville.

History
The building dates from the end of the 16th century and was profoundly transformed after 1723 with notably openings in bays and an external wooden gallery in the direction of the castle mound. It is a building of square plan with a circular spiral staircase tower. It comprises a ground floor as well as two storeys and a roof space. The interior contains numerous decorative elements, wainscoting, joinery and fireplaces dating from the first half of the 18th century. The whole was repurchased by the town in 1993 in order to house the Town Hall.
