History
Viscounts' castle known as the castle of Jeanne d'Albret, the first mention of which would date back to 982. Building with octagonal enclosure, tower with flat buttresses, two building ranges, lower courtyard, chapel dedicated to Saint Georges. In the years 1180-1220, it enters the struggle waged between supporters and opponents of the Plantagenets.
