"La maison et le parc ont été constitués au début du 18e siècle par Pierre Cailleteau dit "Lassurance", architecte et contrôleur des Bâtiments du Roi. Il achète le domaine en 1711 et le complète l'année suivante par des terres et des bâtiments de ferme. History
The house and park were developed in the early 18th century by Pierre Cailleteau known as "Lassurance", architect and controller of the King's Buildings. He bought the estate in 1711 and completed it the following year with land and farm buildings. To build the family home, he repurchased materials from the destruction of the abbey of Port-Royal.
