History
The three buildings, called Walter after the name of the architect, were built between 1929 and 1931, on the site of the former fortifications of Thiers. The complex is composed of three buildings arranged around inner courtyards and green spaces. A counterpart provided for in the project, on the other side of place de la Colombie, was never built. These buildings were constructed for a wealthy clientele, in Art Deco style.
