History
Building entirely constructed in reinforced concrete by the Perret brothers in place of the townhouse in which Auguste Perret lived. In 1928, the Perret brothers establish the family company promoting and owning the building. Works begin in 1930 and are completed in February 1932, the date on which Auguste Perret takes possession of his apartment (source: Auguste Perret Foundation, Académie des Beaux-Arts). The façade is decorated by a group sculpted by André Abbal. On the top floor is found Auguste Perret's apartment. In the entrance of the building, a helical staircase provides access to the first basement.
