History
Building built by the architect Jean Le Couteur, in partnership with the engineer Jean Prouvé and the ceramicist Jacques Lenoble. The layout plan dates back to 1952, but the eight-storey building was constructed in three phases. In 1956, the building on the street side is completed. An extension on the adjoining building takes place between 1983 and 1992. The building of the nineteen-fifties illustrates the integration of industrialised elements within a traditional construction. The metal panels are among the last Parisian examples from the workshops of Maxéville, directed by Jean Prouvé.
