History
The lavoir of the centre was built in 1849 on the plans of the architect Jean-Baptiste Colard, replacing the Lacroix lavoir, which dated from 1823. The building, constructed in ashlar, comprises a covered lavoir under a hall supported by Doric columns and, outside the building on the side of the village, a circular fountain with a central jet pile decorated with sculptured motifs, whose basin extends on either side by a watering trough.
