The château of Boult stands to the north of the village, on a mound, facing the church to the south, also built on a height. It would have been rebuilt around 1745 by Claude-Antoine d'Hennezel on the plans of architect-sculptor Claude Damien Gardaire, in place of an older building that was already in ruins in the 15th century. Several campaigns of work carried out in the 18th century are identifiable in the interior décors of the main dwelling. The building was successively owned by Antoine Balthazar Tinseau (late 18th century), by Antoine Eléonore Bouzie de Champvans (Year XI), by JB Faurie de Vienne between 1818 and 1834, by César then by Alphonse Dufournel and by the family of Perthuis after 1861. Preceded by two terraces to the south, village side, the main dwelling opens to the north onto a courtyard, bordered to the west by former stables and to the east by a farmyard, comprising farm, dovecote and sheds on either side of the access drive. To the north, beyond the courtyard extends the park, a vast meadow enclosed by a shaded turning drive, where one finds, at a short distance to the east, a folly or grotto, decorated with mosaic of various materials, stylistically close to that of the château d'Ollans. The main dwelling, a rectangular-plan construction with projecting pavilions at the ends, retains numerous elements of 18th century décor (oak wainscoting, fireplaces...), and an imposing stone staircase, whose landing is decorated with statues also attributed to Gardaire.
