En 1639, l'église primitive est détruite pour dégager les abords de la citadelle menacée par les Français. L'église est reconstruite aussitôt, les travaux s'achevant en 1677. L'édifice se compose d'une nef unique bordée de chapelles latérales, faux-transept et abside à cinq pans. L'église est couverte de voûtes en briques. Le décor 19e siècle a succédé à des peintures plus anciennes. Le buffet d'orgue en bois sculpté date du 18e siècle.

History
In 1639, the primitive church is destroyed to clear the surroundings of the citadel threatened by the French. The church is immediately rebuilt, with works completed in 1677. The building consists of a single nave lined with side chapels, false transept and a five-sided apse. The church is covered with brick vaults. 19th-century decoration succeeded earlier paintings. The carved wooden organ case dates from the 18th century.
