Historique
Bâti aux frais de l'empereur Charles Quint en 1548, le couvent des Clarisses fut confisqué en 1792 et transformé en prison civile. Cet ensemble conventuel a conservé son plan primitif et l'essentiel de sa structure, à savoir l'église et le cloître. L'église est à nef unique charpentée, choeur quadrangulaire voûté sur croisée d'ogives et chapelles latérales. Le cloître, dont deux galeries seulement sont couvertes, est composé d'arcades plein cintre très sobres. Présence de peintures murales du 17e siècle sur la paroi du choeur.

History
Built at the expense of the Emperor Charles V in 1548, the convent of the Poor Clares was confiscated in 1792 and transformed into a civil prison. This conventual complex has retained its original plan and the essential part of its structure, namely the church and cloister. The church has a single timber-framed nave, a quadrangular choir vaulted with a rib vault and lateral chapels. The cloister, of which only two galleries are covered, is composed of very sober round arches. Presence of wall paintings of the 17th century on the choir wall.
