1956 first mass celebrated in the chapel Sainte Barbe in the presence of Firmin Van Bree 1958 Van Bree requests Pavlovsky to construct a crypt in which he has just obtained authorization to be buried 1960 burial of Firmin Van Bree in the crypt

At the entrance to the Pointe Sainte Barbe, the small chapel was constructed by André Pavlovsky in 1956 at the request of Firmin Van Bree, a Belgian industrialist. This small, sober oratory with rounded lines stands at the end of an avenue made up of sandstone slabs, bordered by two low walls. It occupies the centre of a small circular square bordered by small upright stones. The building is a construction with simplified forms made of circles and triangles. The circular plan is divided in two by the façade. On one side, the chevet and on the other the porch, which each form a semi-circle. They are covered with a roof with three slopes of barrel tiles. The chevet is higher than the porch. The façade is a gable wall with two slopes to which is attached on the left a porch tower with two slopes likewise, pierced in its upper part by a bell opening with a round arch and crowned with a stone cross. The top of these two parts forming the façade is covered with courses of stone. The bell tower is flanked by a buttress whose top is furnished with barrel tiles. In 1958, the industrialist commissioned a crypt in which he wished to be buried upon his death. It is dedicated to Saint Firmin, first bishop of Amiens whose relics are kept in Amiens and Pamplona. stained glass by Chigot, mosaics, azulejo panel, various statues of saints standing
