En 1920, à l'âge de 18 ans, Agnès Souret remporta le premier concours de "la plus belle femme de France". A son décès, en 1928, elle fut inhumée dans une tombe Art Déco réalisée par le sculpteur Lucien Danglade, élève de Charles Despiau. C'est un petit édifice évoquant un édicule antique, en marbre rose, décoré d'un vitrail.

History
In 1920, at the age of 18, Agnès Souret won the first competition for "the most beautiful woman of France". Upon her death, in 1928, she was buried in an Art Deco tomb created by the sculptor Lucien Danglade, pupil of Charles Despiau. It is a small building evoking an antique shrine, in pink marble, decorated with a stained-glass window.
