Historique
Le premier établissement thermal, construit en 1857 dans l'enceinte de l'usine à sel de Salies et agrandi en 1880, a brûlé en 1888. Reconstruction dès 1889 par l'architecte palois Lagarde d'un bâtiment beaucoup plus vaste, de style romano-byzantin. Une salle des fêtes, qui complétait l'édifice, fut remplacée en 1930 par une piscine après un incendie.

History
The first thermal establishment, constructed in 1857 within the enclosure of the Salies salt works and enlarged in 1880, burned down in 1888. Reconstruction from 1889 by the Pau architect Lagarde of a much larger building, in Romano-Byzantine style. A ballroom, which complemented the building, was replaced in 1930 by a swimming pool after a fire.
