Historique
Kiosque réalisé en 1894 par l'architecte orthésien Bourdette au milieu du jardin public et toujours utilisé. Edifice octogonal à soubassement de pierre. Le soubassement est couronné d'une plate-forme composée d'un plancher en coeur de pin reposant, au moyen de lambourdes en chêne, sur des poutrelles en fer à I. Au-dessous de ce plancher se trouve un sous-sol sous solive, formant une chambre d'harmonie. Un escalier en pierre de neuf marches permet d'accéder à la plate-forme. La toiture en zinc, surmontée d'une coupole, est supportée par huit fermes en fer reposant sur un poinçon central et sur huit colonnes en fonte posées sur les contreforts du soubassement. Une grille en fer forgé formant garde-corps est placée sur le couronnement du soubassement, entre les colonnes en fonte. En 1895, l'électricité y est installée.

History
Kiosk built in 1894 by Orthès architect Bourdette in the middle of the public garden and still in use. Octagonal building with stone base. The base is crowned by a platform composed of a pinewood heart flooring resting, by means of oak joists, on iron I-section beams. Below this flooring is found a basement under joist, forming a resonance chamber. A stone staircase of nine steps provides access to the platform. The zinc roof, topped by a dome, is supported by eight iron trusses resting on a central kingpost and on eight cast iron columns placed on the buttresses of the base. An iron grille forming a guard-rail is placed on the crowning of the base, between the cast iron columns. In 1895, electricity was installed there.
