Cet édifice se composait, à l'origine, d'un logis doublé d'une enceinte fortifiée. Le château est rebâti au 17ème siècle selon un plan en U avec des façades classiques percées de baies régulières et flanqué de tourelles effilées à ses extrémités. Entre 1860 et 1881, la demeure est rénovée dans le goût éclectique de l'époque : vestibule à l'italienne avec un plafond peint, chapelle ornées de peintures au pochoir. La salle à manger renferme une cheminée en bois surmontée d'un médaillon en terre cuite à l'effigie d'Henri IV

History
This building was originally composed of a main dwelling doubled by a fortified enclosure. The castle is rebuilt in the 17th century according to a U-plan with classical facades pierced by regular openings and flanked by slender turrets at its ends. Between 1860 and 1881, the residence is renovated in the eclectic taste of the period: Italian-style vestibule with a painted ceiling, chapel decorated with stencilled paintings. The dining room contains a wooden fireplace surmounted by a terracotta medallion bearing the effigy of Henry IV.
