Eglise type de l'école auvergnate de la période romane. De plan basilical, elle possède une nef de trois travées voûtées en berceau, à double collatéral ; le premier étant roman, voûté en berceau avec pénétration, le second sur croisée d'ogives ajouté au 15e siècle. Dans l'axe, chapelle de la Vierge, l'abside voûtée en cul-de-four, deux chapelles absidiales dans le prolongement des collatéraux également voûtées en cul-de-four. Ces trois chapelles sont ornées d'arcatures romanes. L'ensemble comporte des chapiteaux à feuillages stylisés. Le porche roman est décoré d'un tore en plein cintre retombant sur deux colonnettes. Un clocher a été ajouté au 19e siècle.

History
Typical church of the Auvergnat school of the Romanesque period. Of basilical plan, it possesses a nave of three bays vaulted in barrel vault, with double aisles; the first being Romanesque, vaulted in barrel vault with interpenetration, the second on rib vault added in the 15th century. In the axis, Chapel of the Virgin; the apse vaulted in cul-de-four, two apsidal chapels in the prolongation of the aisles also vaulted in cul-de-four. These three chapels are ornamented with Romanesque arcatures. The whole comprises capitals with stylised foliage. The Romanesque porch is decorated with a moulding in round arch springing from two small columns. A bell tower was added in the 19th century.
