Historique
L'église de Trézioux dépendait de l'évêque de Clermont qui était seigneur de la paroisse jusqu'en 1789. Cet édifice d'origine romane fut reconstruit au 14e siècle dans un style proche des église casadéennes du Livradois et influencé par le gothique méridional. Il reçut au 15e siècle une deuxième nef venant doubler la première, ainsi qu'un clocher et un presbytère accolé au flan sud. Une chapelle seigneuriale fut ajoutée au 16e siècle. Le clocher fut remplacé au 19e siècle. Des sondages ont révélé l'existence de décors anciens en plusieurs strates sous les enduits du 19e siècle, avec les traces des campagnes du 16e au 18e siècle. Vitraux réalisés en 1857.

History
The church of Trézioux was under the jurisdiction of the bishop of Clermont who was lord of the parish until 1789. This building of Romanesque origin was rebuilt in the 14th century in a style close to the churches of Livradois and influenced by southern Gothic. In the 15th century it received a second nave to double the first, as well as a bell tower and a presbytery attached to the south side. A seigneurial chapel was added in the 16th century. The bell tower was replaced in the 19th century. Probing revealed the existence of ancient decorative schemes in several layers beneath the 19th-century render, with traces of campaigns from the 16th to the 18th century. Stained glass made in 1857.
