History
Building built in 1899-1900 by the architect Louis Jarrier, of Auvergnat Neo-Romanesque inspiration. The influence of Auvergnat Romanesque is manifested in many points: honeycomb masonry above certain openings; offsets with arcading forming transition between the tower and the elevations of the building, shaving modillions employed on a large scale as balcony consoles, billets strings crowning the elevations; pentagonal lintels of the ground-floor openings. The use of the horseshoe arch relates the building to art nouveau.
