Historique

History
The new church is rebuilt on the site of the previous one, for an enlarged parish sector comprising cities no. 5 and 11, as well as the new city extending the city of Maroc. The plans are entrusted to Gustave Umbdenstock. A decision is made to use the foundations of the old church to reduce the cost of reconstruction. The church is blessed in 1925. Umbdenstock chooses the reference to Romanesque architecture, combined with the use of modern materials. Capitals, altars and monumental pulpit are the work of sculptor Font-Robert. The decorative artist Léon Rudniki creates the fresco of the porch tympanum, the interior decorative paintings. Stations of the Cross and stained glass windows were realised by Auguste Labouret.
