History
This complex constitutes one of the three miners' trade union houses in France, along with Montceau-les-Mines and Carmaux, a place of memory of the labour struggles of miners in the Pas-de-Calais. The complex, rebuilt and inaugurated in 1926, comprises a performance hall, an Art Deco garden and offices and meeting rooms. The main façade is surmounted by a pediment representing a miner at work.
