Historique
Situé au nord du village, le château actuel est dû au prince de Condé qui l'a fait reconstruire dans les années 1760-1770 dans un style néo-classique. Les aménagements hydrauliques du parc datent du 17e siècle (propriété de Toussaint Roze, secrétaire du cabinet de Louis XIV). Vers 1770, Condé installa une manufacture d'indiennes dans les dépendances du château profitant de la rivière toute proche pour son énergie motrice. C'est le début de l'activité industrielle dans le village. Les dépendances ont été remaniées à la suite d'un incendie en 1829 et aménagées en logements au 20e siècle.

History
Located to the north of the village, the present castle is due to the Prince of Condé who had it rebuilt in the years 1760-1770 in a neo-classical style. The hydraulic arrangements of the park date from the 17th century (property of Toussaint Roze, secretary of the cabinet of Louis XIV). Around 1770, Condé installed a cotton-print factory in the castle dependencies, taking advantage of the nearby river for its motive power. This was the beginning of industrial activity in the village. The dependencies were reworked following a fire in 1829 and converted into dwellings in the 20th century.
