En 1921, les trois compagnies de navigation, Cunard, White Star et Red Star, s'unirent pour créer la Société anonyme de l'Hôtel Atlantique. History
In 1921, the three shipping companies, Cunard, White Star and Red Star, united to create the Société anonyme de l'Hôtel Atlantique. They wanted to have a model establishment to receive future emigrants to the United States and satisfy sanitary controls. Architect Levavasseur drew up the plans for the architectural complex.
