History
This house was built in the early 19th century, probably between 1830 and 1848, during the height of the compagnonnage movement. The dormer with gitard link and hook link forming a pincer, with a half-lap joint, displays great simplicity. The two roof structures present consist of inscriptions and compagnonnage symbols in their voids: U.V.G.T. indicating the rite of a companion of the Devoir or Soubise, and the maxim God protects the arts.
