History
The chapel is said to have been founded around 1075 and formed part of a priory which depended on the abbey of Saint-Georges-du-Bois. This church was formerly larger than it is. Only the choir and the apse remain. The nave, which served as a storehouse after the church was deconsecrated, has disappeared. The houses surrounding the chapel, the former tannery and the mill, formed part of the enclosure of the small monastery. The whole was enclosed by walls. The interior of the chapel preserves sculpted capitals (heads, foliage, birds).
