Au début du 19e siècle, le regroupement pour la fabrication du fromage est autorisé. La ville décide de réaliser un chalet double pour accueillir deux sociétés de la commune. L'architecte Dalloz organisa ces deux ateliers dans un bâtiment précédé par un porche néo-classique à portique. L'édifice est achevé en 1826, mais subit une importante restructuration en 1891-1894 réalisée par l'architecte Louis Rousseau. La fromagerie ferma en 1966.

History
At the beginning of the 19th century, the grouping for cheese production is authorised. The town decides to build a double chalet to accommodate two societies of the commune. The architect Dalloz organised these two workshops in a building preceded by a neoclassical porch with portico. The building is completed in 1826, but undergoes major restructuring in 1891-1894 realised by the architect Louis Rousseau. The cheese factory closed in 1966.
