A l'emplacement d'une première église construite en 1834 pour répondre aux besoins d'une population croissante, l'architecte Abadie édifie entre 1863 et 1884 l'église actuelle. Celle-ci respecte un plan courant chez l'architecte, allongé avec un clocher porche dont le premier étage s'ouvre sur la nef. L'instabilité du sol a entraîné une réflexion particulière sur les fondations, et un espacement dans la construction afin de permettre le tassement des parties édifiées. Le clocher est couronné par une flèche et un lanternon. La nef est charpentée. Les élément décoratifs d'origine, particulièrement simples, sont majoritairement conservés. Les vitraux, commandés en 1883, sont du maître verrier Edouard Didron.

History
At the location of a first church built in 1834 to meet the needs of a growing population, the architect Abadie built between 1863 and 1884 the present church. This one respects a layout common to the architect, elongated with a porch tower whose first storey opens onto the nave. The instability of the soil led to particular consideration of the foundations, and spacing in the construction in order to allow the settling of the built parts. The bell tower is crowned by a spire and a lantern. The nave is timber-framed. The original decorative elements, particularly simple, are largely preserved. The stained glass windows, commissioned in 1883, are by the master glazier Edouard Didron.
