Edmond Pilette, architecte qui a réalise en parallèle le lotissement de Gontaut-Biron, se voit également confié en 1932 la commande de deux maisons : et l'hôtel particulier Calespoutrat, situé à l'angle des allées François-Verdier et du n°1 square Boulingrin, et la maison Guignard (3 square Boulingrin), dont il réalise également l'extension fin 1935.
Description
La maison Guignard présente un soubassement parementé d'un appareil irrégulier de moellons, le reste de la façade étant simplement enduit. Ce sont les ouvertures aux dessins variés qui animent subtilement la façade, notamment la porte d'entrée en plein-cintre, forme reprise pour la baie du salon, et la large baie tripartite de la loggia à l'étage, toutes les deux ajoutées lors de l'agrandissement de 1935.

Description
