L'église s'inscrit sans doute à la suite d'une première implantation romane voisine. Elle date, dans son état actuel, de deux campagnes de construction dont la plus intéressante est celle comprise entre la fin du 17e et le 18e siècle, avec son ensemble de gypseries agrémenté, dans le choeur, de deux loges qui donnent à cet espace un caractère théâtral. Les décors de la nef ont été repris et complétés au début du 19e siècle.

History
The church undoubtedly follows a first nearby Romanesque establishment. It dates, in its current state, from two campaigns of construction, the most interesting of which is that between the late 17th and 18th century, with its ensemble of gypsum plasterwork enhanced, in the chancel, by two galleries which give this space a theatrical character. The decorations of the nave were taken up and completed in the early 19th century.
