History

Built in 1494, the Franciscan convent was, in 1639, given to the Recollects. At the end of the 18th century, the building was in ruins. The ensemble comprises the conventual buildings and a 17th-century church, enlarged in the 19th. The main façade of the church, with superposed orders, is crowned by an undulating pediment. It is articulated by pilasters. The apsidal bell tower, crowned by a small dome, comprises four levels defined by cornices.
