Historique
L'église a été fondée en 1560 grâce à des donations, et a appartenu aux Olivétains. Elle a été restaurée et modifiée à différentes époques. Le choeur a été construit en 1792. Vers 1870, la majeure partie de l'église est délabrée. Deux campagnes de travaux sont effectuées en 1872-1882 (extérieur) et 1885-1886 (intérieur). Le clocher actuel date de 1913. Les peintures du choeur (1849) et les cartons d'ornement de la façade principale sont dûs au peintre Giuseppe Marchesi. ££L'édifice comporte une nef principale et quatre chapelles latérales qui, après différents aménagements, ont été transformées en deux nefs latérales. La toiture est dominée par quatre coupoles, correspondant chacune à une chapelle latérale. Le chevet est plat. La porte centrale de la façade est encadrée par des pilastres à chapiteaux corinthiens et surmontée d'un fronton triangulaire.

History
The church was founded in 1560 thanks to donations, and belonged to the Olivetans. It was restored and modified at different periods. The choir was built in 1792. Around 1870, the majority of the church was dilapidated. Two campaigns of work were carried out in 1872-1882 (exterior) and 1885-1886 (interior). The current bell tower dates from 1913. The paintings of the choir (1849) and the ornamental cartoons of the main façade are due to the painter Giuseppe Marchesi. The building comprises a principal nave and four lateral chapels which, after different modifications, were transformed into two lateral naves. The roof is dominated by four cupolas, each corresponding to a lateral chapel. The chevet is flat. The central door of the façade is framed by pilasters with Corinthian capitals and surmounted by a triangular pediment.
