Ce monument fut érigé de 1920 à 1922 suivant les plans de larchitecte A. Prodolliet et avec le concours du sculpteur A. Pugnet. Il constitue langle du mur de soutènement de la place de la Victoire et fait le lien entre les deux parties de la ville. Il se présente sous la forme dune colonne flanquée de contreforts de forme approximativement rectangulaire et il est surmonté dune urne funéraire un peu modifiée.

History
This monument was erected from 1920 to 1922 following the plans of architect A. Prodolliet and with the assistance of sculptor A. Pugnet. It constitutes the corner of the retaining wall of the place de la Victoire and forms the link between the two parts of the town. It presents itself in the form of a column flanked by buttresses of approximately rectangular form and it is topped with a funerary urn slightly modified.
