Historique
Rebâtie au 17e siècle et fortement restaurée au 19e, la chapelle abrite la grotte de l'ermite Saint-Astier qui y vécut à partir de la fin du 6e siècle. La tradition attribue à l'ermite un pouvoir de guérison et notamment celle d'une princesse qui, en reconnaissance, aurait financé la fondation d'une communauté religieuse. Edifice de plan rectangulaire avec clocher. L'accès à la grotte se fait par une baie en arc surbaissé sous la chapelle. Une voûte en berceau surbaissée, vestige de l'édifice médiéval, est soutenue dans sa partie centrale par un arc doubleau chanfreiné. Dans l'angle nord-ouest est aménagée une fontaine de forme ovoïde avec une margelle en arc de cercle, la Foun Bonî miraculeuse.

History
Rebuilt in the 17th century and heavily restored in the 19th, the chapel houses the grotto of the hermit Saint-Astier who lived there from the end of the 6th century. Tradition attributes to the hermit a power of healing and notably that of a princess who, in recognition, is said to have financed the founding of a religious community. Building of rectangular plan with bell tower. Access to the grotto is by a depressed arch opening beneath the chapel. A depressed barrel vault, a vestige of the medieval building, is supported in its central part by a chamfered double arch. In the north-west corner is arranged a fountain of ovoid form with a circular-arch surround, the miraculous Foun Bonî.
