L'ancienne église Notre-Dame de l'Assomption de Trélissac est un édifice du 15e siècle normalement orienté, comportant un clocher-porche qui mène à une nef de deux travées ouvrant sur un choeur pentagonal. Deux chapelles latérales séparées par des piliers, sont ménagées dans la nef dont elles cantonnent les travées. L'édifice fut remanié en 1860 selon un projet de Paul Abadie, exécuté par l'architecte Vauthier. Le clocher fut ainsi surélevé et les ouvertures remaniées. Lors de l'extension du domaine d'Alfred Magne autour de son château, le village fut déplacé de quelques centaines de mètres en 1869, et l'église cessa d'être paroissiale. Par la suite, laissé sans entretien, le clocher-porche s'effondra.

History
The former church of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption de Trélissac is a 15th-century building normally oriented, comprising a porch tower which leads to a nave of two bays opening onto a pentagonal choir. Two lateral chapels separated by pillars are set out in the nave of which they flank the bays. The building was remodelled in 1860 according to a design by Paul Abadie, executed by architect Vauthier. The bell tower was thus raised and the openings remodelled. During the extension of the domain of Alfred Magne around his château, the village was moved a few hundred metres in 1869, and the church ceased to be parochial. Subsequently, left without maintenance, the porch tower collapsed.
