Cette demeure d'une petite seigneurie rurale datant de la fin du 15e siècle ou des premières années du siècle suivant, a été modernisée dans un goût néo-gothique dans les premières années du 20e siècle. La restauration du château, probablement pour Paul-Ernest Bourdin, président du tribunal de Commerce de Bourges, entre 1881 et la guerre de 1914, s'est accompagnée d'un embellissement des jardins dont l'élément le plus remarquable est la serre monumentale qui porte la marque du constructeur L. De part et d'autre du pavillon central est accolée une aile à deux versants curvilignes vitrés : une serre chaude d'un côté, une serre tempérée de l'autre. Le pavillon central est surmonté d'une galerie extérieure avec balustrade. Une passerelle d'entretien court sur les nefs latérales. L'armature est composée de fers courbés et de colonnettes en fonte. Elle s'appuie sur un soubassement en maçonnerie. La serre est pourvue d'un accès sur ses quatre côtés. Ses façades est et ouest sont identiques. Un portique à toiture vitrée précède les entrées nord et sud. Une chaufferie lui était adjointe, côté sud. Cette serre, dont le modèle a été créé vers 1875-1880, est identique à celle qu'Edmont About avait fait monter dans le parc du château d'Osny (aujourd'hui château de Grouchy) , situé à quelques kilomètres de Pontoise (Val d'Oise). La serre de Savoye pourrait-elle être celle du parc d'Osny ou est-ce un deuxième exemplaire du modèle ? This residence of a small rural seigneury dating from the end of the 15th century or the early years of the following century, was modernised in a neo-gothic taste in the early years of the 20th century. The restoration of the castle, probably for Paul-Ernest Bourdin, president of the Commercial Court of Bourges, between 1881 and the war of 1914, was accompanied by an embellishment of the gardens whose most remarkable element is the monumental greenhouse which bears the mark of the maker L. Grenthe, at Pontoise, manufacturer of greenhouses between 1850 and 1914. This Dutch greenhouse, with iron roof space and glazed surfaces, of a total length of 27.20 m and a width of 7.40 m, is composed of a central pavilion of square plan, rounded in the upper part and raised by a semi-spherical dome terminated by a small bell tower. On either side of the central pavilion is attached a wing with two curved glazed slopes: a hot greenhouse on one side, a temperate greenhouse on the other.
