Ce château a été construit par l'architecte berruyer Jean Lejuge, maître d'oeuvre de la famille de Condé et de la ville de Bourges, pour le parlementaire parisien André Lefebvre d'Eaubonne, qui venait de s'installer en Berry. La demeure a été élevée à l'époque de Louis XIII. Elle se compose d'un pavillon avec un rez-de-chaussée élevé d'un étage surmonté d'un comble percé de lucarnes de pierre. La façade est en moellons enduits. Les fenêtres sont en pierre de taille surmontées d'un fronton cintré dans lequel sont placées des clefs saillantes. History
This castle was built by the Bourges architect Jean Lejuge, master of works for the family of Condé and the town of Bourges, for the Parisian parlementary André Lefebvre d'Eaubonne, who had just settled in Berry. The residence was erected in the time of Louis XIII. It consists of a pavilion with a raised ground floor with a storey surmounted by a roof space pierced by stone dormers. The façade is in rubble stone render. The windows are in ashlar stone surmounted by a arched pediment in which projecting keys are placed. On the side of the main façade is found a forecourt bordered on each side by outbuildings dating from the same period. This courtyard is closed by a carriage gateway in ashlar stone fitted with a pediment. Against this gate is adjoined a postern. Inside, the ground floor preserves two rooms decorated with wainscoting.
