La loge fut fondée en 1776. Frappée d'interdiction en 1832, la loge se reforme en 1841 et acquiert deux nouveaux immeubles. History
The lodge was founded in 1776. Struck by an interdiction in 1832, the lodge reformed in 1841 and acquired two new buildings. The building, whose façade comprises three bays of openings, is composed of two thicknesses of construction distributed around a narrow courtyard. The distribution of the ground floor is effected by a long and narrow side corridor giving access to a vast room serving as a library for some 4000 volumes. The building houses two temples, as well as a blind meditation room, whose ornamentation evokes the rites and beliefs of the brethren and bear witness to Masonic practice in the 19th century.
