En 1844, un temple est construit rue Gambetta, qui sera anéanti par le bombardement de 1945. En 1956, le centre protestant est réalisé par l'architecte Marc Hébrard, associé à René Baraton et Jean Bauhain. Le programme porte sur la construction d'un centre protestant qui comprend un temple, un diaconat, une salle de réunion ainsi qu'une grande salle placée sous le temple et, un peu à l'écart, la maison du pasteur. History
In 1844, a temple is built on rue Gambetta, which will be destroyed by the 1945 bombing. On the north side of the forecourt, the flat roof of the gallery is pierced with an ovoid opening through which soars a slender bell tower in concrete in the shape of an H. This intermediate space, open to the sky, evokes to certain Protestant believers the worship of the desert. In 1962, an organ by Schwenkedel was installed in the temple.
