Historique
Dépendant du diocèse de Saintes ou du prieur de l'hôpital de Pons, l'église est citée dès le 11e siècle. Son origine romane est sensible dans la nef et la travée sous clocher. Le choeur a été reconstruit au 14e siècle et conserve des traces de peinture murale. La cloche a été fondue en 1817 par J. Cornevin et bénite sous le nom de Marie.

History
Dependent on the diocese of Saintes or the prior of the hospital of Pons, the church is cited from the 11th century. Its Romanesque origin is evident in the nave and the bay under the bell tower. The choir was rebuilt in the 14th century and retains traces of wall painting. The bell was cast in 1817 by J. Cornevin and blessed under the name of Marie.
