Historique
L'abri s'ouvre à 690m d'altitude.

History
The shelter opens at 690m altitude. Excavated by L. Barral in 1955-1956, then by D. Binder, this shelter was occupied almost continuously from the Epipalaeolithic to the final Neolithic. In addition to numerous settlement structures (pits, hearths, deposits), three new inhumation burials were discovered in the levels of the Early Neolithic. The site made it possible to demonstrate the succession of the two principal aspects of the Impressed Ware complex of the central-western Mediterranean which ensured the diffusion of agro-pastoralism.
