History
From the 14th century onwards, the house became the country residence of wealthy bourgeois families, including that of the Feydeau. The present buildings date from the 17th and 18th centuries. Main dwelling and agricultural buildings are arranged symmetrically around an open courtyard, characteristic of Bourbonnais architecture of the classical period. The 18th-century master's main dwelling retains interior decorations, notably parquetry with multiple wood types. Well-preserved example of a country residence of the 17th and 18th centuries in the surroundings of Moulins.
