Historique
L'église, prieuré de l'ancien diocèse d'Autun, siège d'un prieuré-cure, devient en 1103 possession de l'abbé de Cluny. Edifice composé d'une nef unique (13e siècle) terminée par un choeur (12e siècle) à une abside cantonnée de deux absidioles. Au 15e siècle, deux chapelles sont accolées sur les murs latéraux ; elles sont voûtées sur croisées d'ogives. Les travées droites de l'abside et des absidioles communiquent entre elles par des arcs brisés ; la travée droite de l'abside et celle de l'absidiole nord sont couvertes de berceaux brisés, celle du sud porte un berceau plein cintre perpendiculaire à l'axe. La nef est couverte par une voûte surbaissée en charpente. Le porche est typiquement roman. La porte principale, sans tympan, est encadrée d'une archivolte à trois voussures de billettes, d'oves et de perles, retombant sur des colonnettes dont les chapiteaux sont décorés de personnages et de griffons à une seule tête. Le pignon de façade est dominé par un clocher arcade à deux baies transformé en clocheton à une époque récente.

History
The church, priory of the former diocese of Autun, seat of a priory-cure, becomes in 1103 possession of the abbot of Cluny. Building composed of a single nave (13th century) terminated by a choir (12th century) with an apse flanked by two absidioles. In the 15th century, two chapels are adjoined on the side walls; they are vaulted on rib vaults. The straight bays of the apse and absidioles communicate with each other by broken arches; the straight bay of the apse and that of the north absidiole are covered with broken barrel vaults, that of the south carries a barrel vault in round arch perpendicular to the axis. The nave is covered by a lowered vault in roof structure. The porch is typically Romanesque. The main door, without tympan, is framed by an archivolt with three voussures of billettes, ovos and pearls, springing from colonettes whose capitals are decorated with figures and griffons with a single head. The façade gable is dominated by an arcade bell tower with two openings transformed into a small bell tower at a recent period.
